Real Ale at The Galley of Lorne Inn

Since taking over The Galley of Lorne Inn, the owners Andrew and Sarah Stanton have made great efforts to promote real ale in their establishment.

Real ale is a natural, living product. By its nature this means it has a limited shelf life and needs to be looked after with care in the pub cellar and kept at a certain temperature to enable it to mature and bring out its full flavours for the drinker to enjoy.

Whilst most of what we have to offer comes from larger producers rather than micro-breweries, we still pride ourselves in giving an exceptional quality ale, with our clientele never knowing from one week to the next which ales we will be serving.
