GETTING HERE

Location & Directions

Some helpful advice:
If arriving from the south, be aware if you are using a SatNav System, it will direct you to the shortest route which by two miles will take you instead down the B840 road between Cladich and Ford. Whilst scenic, this 21 mile single track road will add a lot of time to your journey. If you are coming from the Glasgow/Edinburgh area we strongly suggest that if time is of the essence you go via Arrochar, Inverary and Lochgilphead using the A83 then take the A816 towards Oban.

Situated on the breathtaking West Coast of Scotland (two hours by car from Glasgow), Ardfern is a short way down the leafy B8002 off the main A816, 24 miles south of the bustling market town and ferry port of Oban and 14 miles north of Lochgilphead, gateway to Kintyre.
